     As this short video platform continuously updates its usage policies, there may be changes in the registration and verification process for Douyin. You might need to use a Chinese phone number or ID card for identity verification. However, I'll provide a basic guide on how to register.

1. When you first open the app, tap the “注册” (Sign Up) button to start the registration process
2. Choose register method

• Ues Phone number : Enter your phone number and receive a verification code via SMS
• Use social account : Such as WeChat, QQ, or Apple ID for connect and register
  

    3. After registering, the system will prompt you to enter your username, date of birth, and gender.
    4. Then, tap the pink button, and you'll be able to start using the app.
